It is actually somewhat awe inspiring when the beauty and spirit of one person can be so lasting that it carries them in notoriety throughout not just years, but decades. One of the best examples of this is Pattie Boyd; model, "actress", photographer, not to mention muse and lover to some of the greatest artists of her time.
Wife to George Harrison and then Eric Clapton, She inspired some of the most beautiful rock ballads of the 60's

Pattie first entered my realm of awareness with the release of her autobiography, Wonderful Today, back in 2007. Though a sheltered 15 year old at the time, I found something oddly comforting in reading about her experiences, however taboo some may have been.
Lady led such an amazing life. She appeared in the Beatles movie, A hard Day's Night, Frequented the covers of both British and Italian Vogue (often alongside Twiggy!) all before starting her long "career" as wife to the rock n' rollers.

The real lasting effect of Pattie Boyd's presence in the spotlight can be seen in the collection of photos, taken in 2008, by Steven Meisel for Fashion Rocks, where model Sasha Pivovarova and Dhani Harrison (son of George, not Patty) portray the legendary couple. SO BEAUTIFUL!

Love you Pattie.
